The proof on ourselves

Accessibility statement

EXPawa sells accessibility compliance work. So this website applies to itself what it recommends, and this statement is honest: it says what was tested, how, and what is left to improve, if anything.

Conformance status

The expawa.com website aims for conformance with level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, the technical reference of the EN 301 549 standard. As of September 3, 2026, our tests found no non-conformance on the criteria tested. If we miss a defect, we undertake to fix it, not to reword it.

Test method

  • Automated axe-core tests on every page, in both themes (light and dark): zero violations required at each release, checked in continuous integration.
  • A full keyboard pass on each page: tab order, focus visibility, skip link, no focus trap.
  • Manual checking of color contrast in both themes, including the gradient backgrounds that automated tools cannot judge.
  • Key pages read with a screen reader (VoiceOver) and behavior checked with the “reduce motion” preference: all the content stays available, no animation plays.
  • Display checked from 375 pixels wide, with no horizontal scrolling.

Technologies used

HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Next.js). The sound demonstration on the EAA compliance page uses your browser’s speech synthesis; its full transcript is shown as text, and the information never depends on the audio. The self-check on the Nonprofits page is computed in your browser and records nothing.
